"We who live in Tehama County are continuously surrounded by the wildlife along the banks of the Sacramento River and marvel daily at the breath-taking view of Mount Lassen, especially after a good snow." Erin was born in Coalinga, California. She grew up in Ojai and attended schools in Santa Paula and Ventura. After graduation, she relocated to Santa Barbara - during the time of Led Zeppelin and Vietnam. She has been painting locally inspired canvases since 1970 and moved to Red Bluff in 1990, where she now resides with her husband Bob. "Thanks to the continuing encouragement of my husband and John Alger’s wonderful photos of his Manton vineyard, I continue my journey with art in 2006, looking to the beauty that surrounds us in the north state. It is my hope that I can capture a scene that will take you to some familiar place..." |
